Launching a New Era in Aerospace – The World’s First Women’s Aerospace Magazine

September 3, 2024 – WASHINGTON – The Women’s Aerospace Network is thrilled to announce the launch of the first-ever issue of Women’s Aerospace, a groundbreaking magazine dedicated to celebrating and amplifying diverse voices in aerospace. This historic milestone marks a significant step in redefining the narrative of aerospace, as we dedicate a spotlight to trailblazers and amplify the voices of everyday heroes driving progress in the industry.

“This magazine is designed to give a voice to the many people around the world who are making remarkable strides in space exploration, emphasizing that the aerospace industry thrives on the contributions of individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of skill sets, both inside and outside of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics),” said Holly Pascal, founder of the Women’s Aerospace Network.

Women’s Aerospace serves as a hub for all things related to the aerospace community, showcasing remarkable individuals and the innovative work happening across the field. Readers will discover inspiring stories from a diverse range of people—from students to seasoned professionals, including scientists, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and engineers—who are shaping the aerospace industry.

"I had no idea there were so many inspiring women in aerospace from countries all over the world. I discovered niche roles like space consultants, educators, and space advocates that truly opened my eyes. Representation matters, and seeing them in those positions made me realize that these roles are not only possible but actually exist," said student and 2024 Women’s Space Awards nominee.

In this first edition, Women’s Aerospace proudly announces the winners of the 2024 Women’s Space Awards. These extraordinary individuals have made a lasting impact on the aerospace industry and continue to drive innovation while tackling the world’s most complex challenges.
